    1. Order and completeness

    1.1 Ingredients appear in descending order of ingoing weight, matching the specification


    1.2 Every ingredient that must be named is named (nothing material is missing from the list)


    1.3 Added water and other components that must appear are handled correctly, or marked N/A


    2. Compound ingredients and additives

    2.1 Compound ingredients are unfolded on the label where the rules require it


    2.2 Food additives are identified with the correct class name and number (or permitted name) where required


    2.3 Characterising ingredient percentages on the label match the composition record


    3. Allergen labelling on this list

    3.1 Declared allergens required for New Zealand (current PEAL / Schedule 9 approach) are complete on this ingredient list


    3.2 Allergen names are presented in the way you intend to use on the NZ label (for example emphasised in the list)


    3.3 I have found a mismatch between the label, the specification, and/or the allergen record
